Mi Casa Tu Casa returns as part of the 2018 New Jersey Theatre Alliance Stages Festival! It will be presented in association with Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre. The cast features musician Michael Aquino alongside storytellers Alicia Rivas and Louis Vetter. Mi Casa Tu Casa was co-created by Michael Aquino, Deivis Garcia, Jane Mandel and Dania Ramos. Jane Mandel is also directing the production.
Performances are March 9 at 6:30pm at the Oakes Center (Dreamcatcher Rep) in Summit (Free); March 15 at 6:30pm at South Street School in Newark ($2); March 17 at 2:00pm at the Institute of Music for Children in Elizabeth (Free), and March 21, 4:00pm at the Newark Public Library (North End Branch) in Newark (Free). CASTING: Female storyteller for Mi Casa Tu Casa in association with Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre in NJ. 20s-30s. Especially seeking Latinas, but will consider Spanish speakers of any background. Must be comfortable with narration, improvisation, singing, audience interaction (children and families), and portraying a wide range of characters. Basic dance or movement background helpful.
